Fresh from their recent North American tour in March, iconic OPM band, Parokya Ni Edgar is gearing up for another overseas tour. Dubbed as the ‘Down Under Tour’, the band will be doing a series of shows in Oceania in August 2024.

PAROKYA NI EDGAR is a multi-award winning alternative rock band formed in 1993. Originally called, “Comic Relief”, the band is composed of Chito Miranda (lead vocals), Gab Chee Kee (guitars), Darius Semana (guitars), Buwi Meneses (bass) and Dindin Moreno (drums). The band is famous for their original “novelty” hits such as “Mr. Suave”, “Buloy”, “Please Don’t Touch My Birdie”, “Inuman Na”, “Halaga”, “Picha Pie” and “Harana”.

Having numerous chart-topping hit songs, biggest-selling albums and multitudes of awards including the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards "Southeast Asia Viewer's Choice Awards" (Harana), Parokya Ni Edgar is undoubtedly one of the biggest bands ever to come out in OPM history. Thus, their legion of loyal fans and media alike dubbed them as the “Pambansang Banda ng Pilipinas” (The National Band of the Philippines).

Having successfully toured around the world numerous times since 2002, the Parokya Ni Edgar ‘Down Under Tour,’ is a celebration of the band's 30+ years of existence. The band is the longest-running active pop/rock band in the Philippines, a feat only few bands (like the Apo Hiking Society) have ever achieved. The band promises an extraordinary tour that will feature a career-spanning repertoire of hits and this tour will mark their return to New Zealand since 2016.
