FromThePit is New Zealand’s longest-running music photography exhibition celebrating the creative works of some of New Zealand’s best music photographers.
This year's exhibition sees 50 photographers from across the country capturing epic memories of local talent.
Events have been few and far between over the past year, and so photos have taken on a new importance.
"We’re telling a story about the evening in images that makes someone that wasn’t there feel like they were." says photographer and videographer Chris Morgan.
Villainy frontman, Neill Fraser, says "Every time we play a show or tour, we always make sure we have a photographer on the team to capture it. Getting those split-second moments of performance is vital to have a record of what happened and being able to share that with the world....they're the ones who ensure the show can live on long after."
FromThePit is proud to share images from recent moments as we plan for new events in the future. Make sure you stop by Aotea Square to see the exhibition on the Auckland Live Digital Stage large-scale screen, complementing other host venues in the precinct and across NZ.
