Visitor Information
The Auckland Live Digital Stage is an LED screen located in Aotea Square, a public space open all year round.
This larger-than-life big screen presents a curated line-up of digital experiences from the worlds of arts, culture and entertainment.
From 8 - 24 March, the Auckland Live Digital Stage comes alive with vibrant and exciting displays, short films, motion graphics, videos, and a myriad of visual delights that will fire your imagination and capture your attention. Check out the full programme.
Practical info
Where are we?
The Digital Stage is located in Aotea Square. You'll find Aotea Square on Queen Street adjacent to the historical Auckland Town Hall (301 – 317 Queen Street) and Aotea Centre.
Parking and Transport
The Civic Car Park is a short walk from Aotea Centre, making it a great option for shows here. It is important however, to remember that sometimes all our venues are filled with events. Make sure you have a backup plan - or book a space in advance.
Mobility parking
The Civic car park has 20 mobility spaces available. Take your mobility card and entry ticket to a pay machine and press the help button for instructions. More information available on Auckland Transport's website.
Public transport
Visit Auckland Transport or download the AT app to see what public transport options are available.
Taxis
For city centre venues, the best spot to meet a taxi is the Bledisloe Street car park at 24 Wellesley Street West.
Food and Drink
Auckland Live has two great cafés in and around Aotea Square for you to enjoy a drink and grab a bit to eat. Container in the Square Café located in Aotea Square and The Terrace Café located at the main entrance of the Aotea Centre.
Accessibility
Aotea Square is a large outdoor space. As such it is easy to access for wheelchairs, however does not have a hearing aid loop.
