Practical info
iHeartRadio Festival Club
Upbeat by day and humming by night, the festival club features a bespoke all-day menu designed by Culprit Dining Room and Bar’s Kyle Street and Jordan MacDonald, as well as their express, 45-minute dining experience, Theatre Dining by Culprit.
One of ArtDego’s favourite street food vendors, Judge Bao, will be slinging bao on busy nights to complete the mouth-watering food offering for those looking for a grab and dash meal.
Drinks will flow courtesy of celebrated mixologist Laura Lopez (Golden Dawn), who has created a cocktail menu to complement the eclectic vibe of the space and the inventive menu. A delicious selection of craft beer and wine is also available.
Where are we?
Located on the terrace of the Aotea Centre, Aotea Square, Queen Street. ASB Theatre is inside the main building. Herald Theatre is on the right of the centre - you can walk round the side from Aotea Square, or take Mayoral Drive.
Parking and transport
The Civic Car Park is a short walk from Aotea Centre, making it a great option for shows here. It is important however, to remember that sometimes all our venues are filled with events. Make sure you have a backup plan - or book a space in advance.
Pre-paid Parking at the Civic Car Park
A limited number of pre-paid parking spaces are available on Level 2 of the Civic Car Park, which is beneath Aotea Square. Entry is via Greys Avenue only.
You can only purchase a pre-paid parking voucher at the time you purchase your event tickets. You can also add a pre-paid car park voucher to an existing ticket order by calling the Ticketmaster Call Centre on 0800 111 999 or by visiting the Aotea Centre Box Office.
Pre-paid parking is available from 6.00pm only.
Mobility parking
The Civic car park has 20 mobility spaces available. Take your mobility card and entry ticket to a pay machine and press the help button for instructions. More information available on Auckland Transport's website.
Public transport
Visit Auckland Transport or download the AT app to see what public transport options are available.
Taxis
For city centre venues, the best spot to meet a taxi is the Bledisloe Street car park at 24 Wellesley Street West.
Accessibility
The best mobility access into the Aotea Centre is through level one of the the Civic car park or at the northern end of the building, to the right of the front steps. Aotea Centre lifts are located inside the building and go from level 1 (near the car park entrance) up to level 5 (ASB Theatre balcony). Accessibilty improvements were a key focus of the recent ASB Theatre auditorium upgrade, with updates including a wheelchair lift at the Stalls level from the Owens Foyer (street level), a flatter grade to the floor and more wheelchair seating.
All Auckland Live venues can be accessed by wheelchairs and have lifts and ramps to assist those who have difficulty climbing stairs.
We have two wheelchairs available at the venue for you to use if you or someone you’re coming with has mobility needs. You can book one of these by telephoning Ticketmaster on 09 970 9700 or 0800 111 999.
