Imagine an Aotearoa without the warm embrace of your old friend 95bFM. Sounds pretty tragic, right? Well with a bit of help from YOU these imaginings can stay in your brain where they belong.
It’s also lucky that 95bFM has many wonderful friends in the Aotearoa New Zealand music community who are mucking in and giving their time, talents, and resources for free to help keep our lights on. Pretty special stuff, eh?
So! With that being said, 95bFM is very excited to announce that on Wednesday 20 December, the Auckland Town Hall will play host to the mother of all fundraisers; SAVE THE b!
Featuring two stages in the main hall and concert chamber, SAVE THE b features an array of Kiwi acts that 95bFM have supported since their humble beginnings. It’s like a beautiful full circle of life, love, and support.
SAVE THE b has something for everybody, and features performances from (in alphabetical order):
- Aroha
- Concord Dawn (Final ever performance!)
- Delaney Davidson + Marlon Williams
- Ebony Lamb
- LIPS
- Princess Chelsea
- Rock And Roll Machine (First appearance in over a decade!)
- Shihad (Playing their debut album Churn in full)
- Tiny Ruins
- Voom
