Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival before Dr Christopher Longhurst, an expert on The Vatican and Sistine Chapel, takes you behind the scenes to unravel some of the major historical and artistic moments around the frescoes, welcoming questions and discussion along the way.
Under license from the Vatican Museums, Michelangelo – A Different View offers a different, closer perspective of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel works which include some 50 pieces, including an almost original size reproduction of The Genesis (which includes the well-known 'The Creation of Man') and a 3.8m x 3.8m version of The Last Judgment.
About Dr Christopher Longhurst
Dr Christopher Longhurst is a theologian and aesthete who specialized in the papal patrimony of art, and the intersections between art and religion. He studied in Rome and worked for seventeen years as an official guide of the Sistine Chapel, Basilica of St Peter, and Papal Art Galleries of the Vatican Museums
