As a key highlight of the Second New Zealand International Piano Festival, internationally renowned piano virtuoso Krzysztof Jabłoński will present an extraordinary musical feast for Auckland audiences. A Third Prize winner at the 11th International Chopin Piano Competition and a jury member for the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in 2025, Jabłoński is celebrated worldwide for his impeccable technique and profound musical interpretations.

In this recital, Jabłoński will perform 16 iconic works by Chopin, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience the timeless charm of Chopin’s music up close. This is a musical event not to be missed!

 

The New Zealand International Piano Festival

The New Zealand International Piano Festival is the largest international classical piano event in New Zealand, dedicated to showcasing the finest in piano artistry. The 2025 edition of the festival will take place at the University of Auckland’s School of Music, featuring concerts, masterclasses, and competitions. This year’s festival brings together 16 distinguished pianists from around the globe and 60 talented young pianists to present a 12-day celebration of the piano festival.
