New Zealand favourite Michael Houstoun returns to the stage with his cherished violin collaborator, Bella Hristova, for a memorable concert featuring works by Ravel, Fauré and Brahms.
Houstoun and Hristova first teamed up in 2008 following Bella’s first prize win in the Michael Hill International Violin Competition (2007) and have enjoyed a treasured partnership ever since that has seen them record all of the Beethoven and Brahms sonatas on the Rattle Label.
This concert celebrates the release of the Brahms sonata album and includes music from their just-recorded album of French repertoire.
