Mark your calendars for an unforgettable summer, as Auckland Live Summer in the Square returns for 2024. Lounge in a deckchair, soak up the sun and make Aotea Square your inner-city backyard as you revel in free live entertainment, from 1 – 25 February.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Aotea Square, Auckland Live Summer in the Square is the ultimate hang out this summer, featuring free entertainment for all ages over four weekends in February. Join the party with different fun-filled activities each weekend including:

• String Symphony (1 – 6 Feb) help bring a two-storey handwoven puppet to life
• AfroFest (10 Feb) with music, dance, DJs and tasty food
• SUSO in the Square (11 Feb) enjoy performances by Stand Up Stand Out musicians
• The return of the much-loved Auckland Latin Fiesta (16 – 18 Feb) across three pumping days
• The Auckland Pride March (25 Feb) kicking off in Aotea Square
• Lunar New Year in the Square (25 Feb), an afternoon of celebrations for the Lunar New Year
