Your favourite FREE summer programme is back!
From December to February we invite you to kick back on the Aotea Square grass terraces beside the Auckland Town Hall as Summer in the Square returns to the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau. Summer in the Square is Auckland Live’s inner-city, free festival of eclectic music, all-ages outdoor movies, and so much more!
Whip out your diaries and start penciling in dates, this is going to be a summer you won’t want to miss.

You cannot BYO alcohol to Auckland Live Summer in the Square.
Aotea Square is covered by the Waitematā Local Board alcohol ban so you cannot bring your own alcohol to any Auckland Live Summer in the Square events, including open air screenings that are part of Films in the Square. BOX Cafe and Bar will be be operating and sells both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as fresh cabinet food, Kapiti ice creams and more, and which can be enjoyed inside the Summer in the Square event site.
