Auckland Fringe Festival: Āhuru Mōwai

Āhuru Mōwai (safe space, sheltered haven) as part of the Auckland Fringe Festival is the first-ever community outreach kaupapa. In true Fringe style, this series of FREE events will be turning the historical Concert Chamber, Auckland Town Hall upside down.

This fresh and exciting series of events will bring an array of multi-disciplinary performances to the festival. Usher in spring with a sizzling slew of FREE shows including some of the freshest comedians on the block at Awwwwwww Gummonn Comedy Jam and The Comedy Boil Up, don’t miss some fresh waiata with the Whangārei Gospel Choir and settle in for some thought-provoking poetry at Tales of a City by the Sea.
